Senior Digital Marketing Strategist | SEO
My main role at Fountain is to support the team with strategy creation ensuring that all channels are working cohesively.
What is your professional or academic background and how did it help you arrive at Fountain?
Most of my 7+ years experience has been within agencies but I also spent 2 years working for myself as a website designer. This experience really has helped me think more holistically towards digital marketing, especially about the close relationships between SEO and CRO.
What is it about Digital Marketing that you find most interesting?
I love thinking creatively and outside the box to maximise the chances of success. This combined with the technicalities and the ever-changing nature of SEO keeps things very interesting!
What do you enjoy most about your role?
The variety. Although SEO can, in the main, be split into 3 main topics, there are 100s of different aspects to it, which require different thought processes. Technical SEO is very different from Digital PR for example but both require both a creative and analytical mind for it to work.
I also enjoy pushing the creative boundaries when it comes to strategy creation and seeing them come to fruition.
What do you like doing when not at work?
Even as a long-suffering Norwich fan, I enjoy playing and watching football. I love taking the dog out on long walks and eating anything that has pastry around it.
