Michael serves as the strategic bridge between clients and Fountain’s specialist teams. His focus is on truly understanding each client’s business inside and out, knowing what commercial success really looks like for them, and ensuring every channel and initiative is pulling in the same direction. He’s driven by keeping things joined up, cutting through complexity, and making sure clients always know where they stand and where they’re heading.

Michael’s background is rooted in performance media. He spent several years leading paid media teams across two digital agencies, running campaigns at significant scale across paid search, social, display, and video in both B2C and B2B environments. Over time, he found himself increasingly drawn to the strategic and relational side of the work, thinking across channels rather than within one, and client account direction became the place where his performance expertise and strategic instincts could work together fully.

What Michael values most about digital marketing is its accountability. You can see clearly what’s working, why it’s working, and what to do next. He’s equally energised by the pace of the industry; the platforms, tools, and strategies that defined best practice a few years ago look very different today, and that constant evolution keeps him sharp.

Outside of work, Michael is into sport, music, and learning languages, pursuits he’s drawn to for the discipline and sense of progression they demand. That same mindset carries into his work: always curious, always looking to improve, and never quite satisfied with good enough.
