Lee specialises in PPC marketing and manages a number of accounts. Essentially, his role is to help potential customers find what they are looking for on the internet. But at the same time, maximising the return on investment for the client.
Lee has always had an interest in technology, and making things better. Initially, he worked in sales, but started applying an analytical approach and this eventually led to further training into the world of digital marketing. Working at an agency, he had the opportunity to improve his knowledge and improve the performance of a portfolio of accounts before Fountain recognised Lee by his work, and offered him a position!
Digital marketing gives you a huge amount of data, and it’s not black and white. Different metrics have complicated relationships with one another and figuring out exactly what has influenced something else is really interesting. He likes fixing things, and in his view, a PPC account can always be improved, no matter how well it may be running.
Lee has a tendency to accidentally stumble upon “areas of improvement”, which is a great trait in this industry. He has always taken pride in successfully improving the ROI for clients, and enjoys helping colleagues with their accounts when needed.
After work, he mainly likes to relax and unwind, to be able to switch off!
