Having worked in digital marketing since 2007, Amelia specialised in SEO since the beginning! She keeps a commercial head-on when planning campaigns and targets keywords most likely to increase profits. Having worked both in-house and in agency environments, she likes aspects from both, but what interested her most about Fountain is the commercial approach to digital marketing, which she believes isn’t something many agencies get right.

Amelia likes the change – the challenge of change, of digital marketing! Every time Google’s search algorithm gets updated, she gets excited because it means there’s more to learn. SEO never sits still, and Amelia likes that – it’s changed so much in the last 10 years, she can’t wait to see what the next 10 brings.

Amelia considers herself best at technical SEO work and describes herself as a ‘strange human,’ as she loves getting stuck into a spreadsheet to find the right solutions to technical problems. For her, the love comes when the time and effort everyone puts in (client included) comes to fruition and traffic and conversions increase. That’s the best thing.

Amelia has a young son, so spare time is at a premium for her! She loves hanging out with him – taking him out to see and do things. And with a allotment, she’s always hoping for a bumper harvest of fruits and veggies!
