ABOUT SOFTWARE INNOVATION
Founded in 1984, Software Innovation (SI) is one of Scandinavia’s success stories, as one of the world’s leading providers of enterprise content management software. Recognised by Microsoft and Gartner, they offer the cutting edge in information, document and case management software for the public and private sectors.
Their flagship products, 360, ProArc and DocuLive are used by over 400 customers throughout Scandinavia, Europe and around the world – helping them to stay in control of the growing volumes of information that organisations and businesses need to manage.
PUTTING FOUNTAIN TO THE TEST
SI has used Fountain’s translation services to communicate with customers and partners internationally since 2009.
SI’s PR & Communications Manager, Mona Øverby, challenged Fountain to meet the company’s high quality standards, while embracing the professional jargon of the software development industry, learning about the products on offer, and meeting strict and often tight deadlines.
After a short trial period, the collaboration was confirmed. Fountain has since translated over 300 documents for Software Innovation – including web pages, brochures, product data sheets, software release information, press releases and sales presentations.
WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
Fountain has worked closely with SI’s marketing department, translating marketing materials from Norwegian, Swedish and Danish to English. Fountain’s translators have become extremely familiar with the company and its products.
“Fountain are easy to communicate with, work in a structured way and deliver a fast and friendly service. They also offer a critical eye to content – posing important questions about word choices and sentence structure when something is unclear. This has supported me in my role.
Our partnership with Fountain has meant we can be sure of the quality of content produced for the international market. We have seen increased efficiency in the production of English language material and improved quality assurance of our content.
I would absolutely recommend Fountain.”
